The failures compromised the array's recovery capacity, and an attempt to rebuild the configuration with a replacement disk proved unsuccessful. After multiple failed efforts by their third-party IT contractor to restore access to the Dell PowerEdge R815 server, JBG required professional intervention to recover their critical operational data.
Secure Data Recovery engineers conducted a full diagnostic evaluation inside a certified Class 10 ISO 4 cleanroom, confirming that multiple drive failures had taken the RAID 6 offline and that previous rebuild attempts had caused additional file system damage. Engineers repaired the affected drives and performed sector-level cloning to create stable working images. The development team then manually reconstructed the RAID array, repaired all file system damage, and successfully restored the original volume architecture, returning JBG's critical data and resuming normal operations.
